Looking for a 'no hassle' way to save extra money on postage costs?

CMM now offers Downstream Access - a new service, which gives you the opportunity to increase volume savings on postage and benefit from improved service levels too.

We take on some of the sortation and delivery work that would normally be carried out by Royal Mail. By working in this way we are able to make extra savings on many Mailsort products - savings that we pass on to you.

Via Downstream Access we manage the first two thirds of the distribution of mail before handing it over to Royal Mail for final doorstep delivery. It is cheaper than most Royal Mail Mailsort products (including all weights in Mailsort 1 & 2 as well as some weights in Mailsort 3).

This results in mail being delivered into the final Royal Mail stage of distribution and thus offers a 2 working day commitment as the key benefit.

DSA allows you to track mail bags with pin point accuracy up to handover to the Royal Mail inward mail centre (IMCs). This equates to about two thirds of the journey. As a result of our sophisticated software, we can identify which specific items were missing in any missing or delayed bag, resulting in more effective and proactive damage limitation and client communications in managing delays. This is a completely new service that will help you monitor a mailing's progress more accurately.

So you'll deliver your data to CMM in the same way as you would if using Royal Mail Mailsort - no extra processing is required as we will manage this on your behalf.

CMM will process your data, produce your mailing and sort it into mailsort bags. The first part of the distribution is then organised via DSA before your mail is delivered to Royal Mail for the final stage of delivery.
